TimesAsiaNews.com | The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reminded a number of regions in Indonesia to be aware of the potential for heavy rains of more than 50 millimeters to flood on Sunday (29/1).
Based on the official BMKG website quoted by Antara in Jakarta, Sunday, areas with the potential for heavy rain include Aceh, North Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra and the Bangka Belitung Islands.
In addition, Lampung, Banten, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan and South Kalimantan also have potential, heavy rain. (ant/red)
