TimesAsiaNews.com | West Java, Karawang – The Ministry of Defence of officially concluded the Media Briefing on Emergency Procedures in High-Risk Areas for Fiscal Year 2025 through a closing ceremony at the Combat Training Centre of the Army Strategic Reserve Command (Menlatpur Kostrad) “Sanggabuana” in Karawang on Saturday (2025/12/20).
The ceremony was led by the Expert Staff for Economic Affairs, Air Vice Marshal TNI Yusran Lubis. In the Minister of Defence’s mandate delivered during the ceremony, it was emphasised that the programme represents a strategic initiative to strengthen the safety, preparedness, and professionalism of media personnel operating in high-risk areas.
Conducted from 14 to 20 December 2025, the programme equipped more than 40 media personnel with essential knowledge of defence policy, emergency procedures, field coordination, and reporting safety, without undermining journalistic independence and integrity.
