Malaysian King Al Sultan Abdullah Approves Anwar Ibrahim as Prime Minister

TIMESASIANews.com | Malaysia – Finally, Malaysia appointed a Prime Minister for the nine Kingdoms in the Malay peninsula country. Malaysia’s King Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al Sultan Abdullah has agreed to appoint Anwar Ibrahim as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Financial Supervisor of the Royal Household Datuk Seri Ahmad Fadil Syamsuddin in a written statement received in Kuala Lumpur, Thursday (Nov, 24) in the Antara alert, said that after refining his views through meetings with Malay kings, Yang di-Pertuan Agong agreed to appoint Anwar Ibrahim as a member of the Tambun Parliament as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah at 11.00 local time attended and chaired a special deliberation with the Malay Kings at the State Palace, and asked about the process of appointing a new Prime Minister after the 15th General Election, November 19, 2022.

The next process is the Ceremony for Granting the Deed of Appointment and the Ceremony for Taking the Oath of Office and Loyalty as well as the Secret Oath as Prime Minister, which is scheduled to take place at 17.00 today at the State Palace. (**)
